Helping another of your team ( Friend or foe ? )

The question today is helping a new member of your team is it helping you or destroying you ? There is a question not to be taking lightly !!!

Here is the situation you are working for a compagny and th boss hires a new salesman ! He tells you train so he can be good ( this can be good or bad )

why good : its good for the team work and being liked by the boss and your co – workers

why bad : its bad because if he earns less than you and he become has  good  the boss will think its cheaper to keep him  and  he is less demanding  ( you are dead meat !!).

Here is what to do in this situations

A) You be helpfull learn him the job so he can be competent !!

B)  Be sure that the boss knows what you are doing for him !!

C) Keep your sales thechnic that you work on for the last years !! why because ( HE WILL KEEP YOU BECAUSE YOU WILL BE IRREPLACABLE )

Short story that happened to me new guy walks him we become friends i shared all my thechnics and all my knowledge !!!

 I was selling 2000000 a years of trailers him after my thechnics was selling 1700000 of trailers we were a great team but than the boss said one thing that changed my life forever !! ( HE SAID WHAT ARE YOU DOING BEN THE NEW GUY IS AS GOOD AS YOU !!! ) NO JOKE !!!  He costed 10000 grand less than me , result if he need to lay somebody to save money he will keep the guy that less costly  with the same result than you !! Luckly for me i was dawm good always kept the beat salesman position !!


So the lesson here is you help him and you be sure to help the compagny but don t give him your  personnal tools !!! Be a good guy but don t be replacable

As you know most people listen to the client but do you ear them ? Why you ask ! simple you got  in any bisness  to create your own idees  and with the help of the compagny a new product that you know that they will love !!!

Since i am a trailer salesman now i created my own trailers ! It was just a test,  i started with the smaller after the bigger now i have products that people don t even have !!

So the lesson is be creative don t just listen ear them !!!

 Ps : yes this is me with my new 4 x 6 that weights 375 pounds and lot of options like 54 inch inside ( sold 10 last summer !! )

You are gonna like this one !!!  ( like i say this is gold !! )

You remember i told you that you got to be a true salesman well this is tip number one  !

As we all know people want to know about ererything right ? They crave information and they are looking for the truth !! Here is one of my best sales tips i give you !!

A) Find one thing  you have that the competition don t have  !!! why because that will be the only way to make your mark !!

B) after explaining  to him your product that YOU KNOW BY HEART !!! ( this is for your credibility !!!)

C)( this is important ) you say to the client listen that you buy from me or somebody else what is important in your situation is that you need this option !!!! And you say what you have and you are sure that the competition has not !!!!

D) He will shop arround with your option in mind but the beauty of it is that nobody else has it but you !! CHECK AND MATE

CONCLUSION :   Even if he comes back after 2 weeks you will have had the upper hand !! You got a sale !! and you have been an honest salesman with out putting pressure.

Today im speaking to you about something that is not as exciting as sales tips but very important if you want to build up your clientele !!!

I ask you one question are you competent ? do you think of your pocket before the client ? are you doing your best to satisfy him ? Is your client happy when he leaves your bisness ? these are the questions you got to ask yourself !!!! Here are the four steps for a happy client that says if you are competent !

A) After you know what he wants do you try to get him the price he wants ? or do you say : thats gonna give me only this much why bother ?( if you go the extra mile he will tell all his friends about you !!! ( that equals more money of course !)

B) If you don t have it  do you say: well the competitor as it you should look there ( did you at least try ? ) ( don t do that it is too frustuating ) he will not be back !

C) Before talking did you learned your stuff completely ? a client want a person that knows what he is talking about !

D) last but not least it is 8 : 50 client walks in you closed at nine , you had a awfull day ! do you serve him or you say : well i have some but can t find them right now just come back !!! ( not good to do ) the client will say man i doesn t care about me !!!! i really wanted this ( not good !!! )

conclusion :  in this world i know sometimes bosses want you to work harder for less so we tend to say why would i do more (fuck it !!)sound familiar not a good way to build up your clientele !

Do your best take care i little more and maybe the bisness wold would be a better place !!!

As I spoken last time you can meet a ( hyper active guy ) !! Today I met my greatest challenge since a while :  this guy had it all he was ( arrogant , hyper active , and really a pain in the ….. )

A) he wanted to know price alot of them so i said to him : sit down sir i have questions for you !! the answer  was very blury !!! but still i got a budjet and a little what he wanted

B) Very agressive and talked loudly so i talked slowly  with a lower tone a voice it  ( he regressed after 2 min )

C) I went outside and he wanted to all the trailers he  asked  me for a deal : do you have a used or a deal  i dont want a new you understand !!!! arrogantly

D) That was it i had it : i told him YES I DO come this is what you want and what you need stop looking at the others cause it s not what you are looking for !!!

E) i went inside to my office and closed him : Listen  this is a new but 2008 trailers with a complete warranty it was at 7246. 00 $ you want  it !!!! 5500 $ the offer ends now !!!! (A client likeTHAT is a pain so  even if you lose him not a big thing so you put pressure on him now now !!!! )

closing line : That is your budjet and you won t find anything elsewhere like this why like you said sir !! it s been 2 years you are looking !! So what is your name that i put on the contract and how you will be paying this !!! He sais visa !




Hunting season !!! ( part 2 )

The second part of  ( hunting season) was a test a made with a really hard client !! A client wanted some pricing and told me what is your price , he asked me for 3 or 4 trailers similar but different why ? ( he didn t know what he wanted ) So here is the conclusion with my 4 steps !!

A) Firts of all he ask me for a written quote  i said : sorry i don t do quotes why because the price always change sometimes with tranports fees and exchange rate !!

B) second of all : he told me i am just starting looking ( for that equals as i will shop arround like hell !! ) so i told him:  no problem look and compare appels to apples options with options anybody can sell a cheaper product but in the long run you will be better on with mine !!

C) third : he told me after : well i wanted to know a price !! so i told him well your homework now is simple. You got to writte down all that you want , with the price you really want to pay and after come meet me and i promise you i will arrange it all for you Ben style and i laught !!

D) he cameback after to look at my trailers again two weeks after i told him : so is my trailer better than the others , he said yes but yours is more expensive than i said : what do i have to do so you say yes he told me . I want a spare and a pad lock i said : you got it sir !!! what is the color !!

So the  lesson here is do not give them a hunting permit !!!!
